Synopsis
Minds Eye Productions completes principal photography of 1208 Sherwood, the first short film in its "A Million Teardrops" series.
1208 Sherwood is a featurette that follows the life events of Edith Silver and Jerry Frances, a young couple happily engaged and ready for life who unexpectedly discover they are HIV positive.
Edith is at risk of losing everything she values - her engagement, her stable home life, the respect of her friends and family - as she grapples with myriad emotions and has to summon the strength to do the right thing. She must quickly learn to overcome her fears and inner demons in order to do the responsible thing. Her challenges are great and the road is rough as she seeks to determine where the disease originated, thereby doing her part to end the epidemic.
Jerry, her working class fiance takes the news very hard and, together, they are forced to evaluate their commitment to one another. He has to look within to determine how strong he must be in order to get through the shock and emotions associated with the disease. The journey takes them on an emotional roller-coaster ride that consumes every moment of their lives. What will happen next? Why should they stay together? What value is there in breaking apart? The only true path to peace is the road into the fearful unknown. They must find the resolve to maintain sanity and take the road to peace and happiness.. but can they?
